I really like drawing props, so I thought I'd post a couple of my favorites that are in my prop portfolio. Props can be pretty simple, (ie - rock) but I like to think that style can make them cooler than one would think...
This is a character that I did for the Riverside Asian Pacific Student Programs at University of California Riverside (also known as UCR). Since the Lunar New Year and Super Tuesday occured within the same week, they wanted...well, you can see for yourself. It appeared on their website and their myspace page.
Here's the layout for my next painting. I bought a small piece of masonite (which I've never painted on before) and I needed a relatively simple composition to fit on the 6"x 6" space. I'll post the final when it's done.

I finished this painting a couple of weeks ago. It's acrylic on canvas board. I think it's part of something larger, I just haven't figured out what yet.
