I finished this painting a couple of weeks ago. It's acrylic on canvas board. I think it's part of something larger, I just haven't figured out what yet.

Roo Village

Here's what I see:
To his left on the cliff, there's a jackall coming toward him. To his right, down in the valley, there's a town of people who would love to make a belt out of him and eat his clothes. However off in the extreme distance is a field of vegetation. So what does the little kangaroo do? He sits and meditates, thinking only of the glorious vegetation that wasn't meant to be.
